The S’mores Newsletter #1 – April 2023
Introduction
Hello, and welcome to my bi-weekly newsletter! Here you’ll find updates about myself, as well as news about the indie art world and what goes on within it. I hope to add a “featured artist” to the end of every newsletter after this one; This section will showcase an artist or indie project that I believe is truly outstanding. (not that skill determines worth of course!)
March 29, 2023 – The long awaited “Lackadaisy” pilot has been released on Youtube! Lackadaisy, based on a webcomic of the same name, follows a cast of anthropomorphic felines as they fumble their way through the prohibition, scrounging for any from of alcohol they can get their paws on. Can this rambunctious rag-tag team keep their speakeasy from falling into disarray and survive against the rival Marigold Gang?
Lackadaisy’s original author, Tracey J. Butler, was heavily involved in the adaptation of the comic into film form, serving as one of its main animators along with talented folks Fable Siegel and Spike Trotman. The original webcomic is planned for reprint alongside plush toys of its main cast.

Campside Diary: Entry 1
April 16, 2023 – I’ve been previously living with my mother and sister, along with my sister’s boyfriend; This living situation will change very soon in May! I will be moving house and living with only my mother while I look for employment. Unfortunately, I will be giving up my beloved feline friend Cinder, who I’ve had for about 9 years now. She has been with me for many adventures, and I hope she finds a new forever home that will love her just as much as I do.
In more uplifting news, I will soon be seeking helpers to assist in completing pages for my webcomic, Project Amulet, which is a Pokemon inspired comic following the adventure of a Zangoose and his trusty Ledian ally as they dive into the mystery of a powerful item and its true purpose. As of the time of writing, there are almost 50 pages available!
