While this project is not considered a true animated series by creator Khansmith, she along with her team plan to continue working on its development in their spare time while Khansmith is working full time at Disney. In this game you play as the titular Spacewing, a self piloting machine built to deal with out-of-this-world threats, on a mission to save the Milkdromeda Galaxy. With its 16-bit styled graphics, high octane flying and platforming action, and characters with many quirky charms, Spacewing Wars 2 is asking for around $18,000 by March 12th, 2026.

January 30th, 2025 - The “Black Cat Bundle” has been released on Steam after a two year development time by creator and artist “ThatLeftHandMan!”

This pixel styled platformer brings a fresh experience in the arcade scene with its two main game modes; Black Cat Blitz features a classic points collectathon game, with Black Cat Brawl being a showdown of strength in a team battle! The bundle also supports remote or split screen multiplayer; Up to eight players can participate in Brawl, while Blitz can be singleplayer or 2-player co-op. Creator ThatLeftHandMan wishes to reach at least 100 sales by the end of the year.

(Updates from the author!)

I am thinking of hosting a charity zine sometime this year! If that is something that you or someone you know might be interested in, let me know! I have two theme ideas that are sure to make for  good projects, and I wish to support the recently defunded PBS station to show them that we still need them.

This newsletter is a bit late to publishing due to a small scramble to find information on new indie projects. I hope to find someone to help me with research and outreach to creators to get ahead on the next big project sooner! Either way, thanks for reading!
